Our Little Lesbian Life

Join us at our home in Maryville, Tennessee to celebrate our marriage. Although our little farmhouse is humble, we have around 1.5 acres and kind neighbors with their own size-able yards to share. We will have a garden party starting at 2PM and lasting until whenever. Knowing myself (Kacie) and my loved ones, it's likely to get very out of hand.

Air conditioned/heated spaces and facilities will be on site, in our house. ​Please wear something fun that makes you feel fancy. If there's something in the back of your closet you've been looking for an excuse to pull out, now's the time! Keep in mind, this is a gay wedding, so nothing is too slutty, outrageous, vintage, or bold. That said, if a simple sundress, casual "going out" outfit, or slacks and a button down is more your vibe, have at it. We don't care what color you wear, including white. Just be comfortable enough to dance!

If you're flying in, McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS) is only a twenty minute drive away. Ubers are available, as are rental cars. And more likely than not, we'll be right nearby -- or other friends/family will be coming in that the same time. When we can, we're happy to pick people up or facilitate ride shares and carpooling. 

 

We're right near the beautiful Smokies, Townsend, and Wears Valley, so if you're wanting to book an AirBnB or stay for a few days, we cannot recommend those areas enough. Otherwise, feel free to pitch a tent in our yard, an air mattress in our house (we have a huge basement), or coordinate with us to stay with local friends and family -- we have plenty. You are welcome to stay as briefly as you'd like, or make our celebration an excuse for a little vacation, hiking trip, or extended visit. You wouldn't be invited if we didn't want you to stay!

We will have plenty of alcohol, and also tobacco products (outdoors). If this presents a problematic environment for you and you'd rather not attend, we completely understand and would love to celebrate with you privately. Otherwise, for our non-partaking (or expecting) friends, there will be tons of snacks and NA drink options. Children are welcome in the earlier part of the evening, so long as they are attended and safe! We have loved ones with severe allergies, so foods will be marked accordingly or served in original packaging. We have vegetarian friends, so will include meatless options. If you have another dietary restriction or allergy, please inform us or feel free to bring your own snack/dish to share!
